Haunted houses

What do you need?

• drawing paper A4
• tissue paper in two colors
• brush and water
• black markers
• white chalk pastel
• black construction paper for background

Before
Discuss characteristics of a haunted house: partly collapsed, spider webs, torture tools, graves, bats, black cats, ghosts etc. 

What should you do ?

• Wet the drawing sheet with brush and water. 
• Tear strips from the tissue paper and put them a bit overlapping on the wet sheet.
• When ready, wet the whole sheet again. 
• Check under the strips to see if the 'bleeding' is ready. If so, take of the strips. 
• Let dry. 
• Draw a haunted house on the colored sheet.  
• Color the house with a black marker. 
• Draw Halloween things around the use with a fine black marker: grave, spiders and webs, moon, bats etc. 
• Draw ghosts with white chalk pastel. 
• Paste the artwork on black construction paper.
